About the Forth Valley LDC

The Forth Valley Local Dental Committee (LDC) is the statutory body representing NHS primary care dentists working across the Forth Valley region, including Falkirk, Stirling, and Clackmannanshire. We act as an independent voice for dentists, liaising with NHS boards, government bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure the views and concerns of local practitioners are heard and addressed.

Our committee is made up of elected representatives from within the local dental community, working together to support colleagues, influence policy, and promote the highest standards of dental care. We are here to provide advice, guidance, and advocacy on matters affecting general dental practice, including contracts, regulations, and service development.

The LDC also plays a key role in fostering communication across the profession - organising meetings, sharing updates, and encouraging collaboration. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced practitioner, the Forth Valley LDC is here to support you.

If you are an NHS dentist working in the area, we invite you to engage with us and sign a mandate to ensure your voice is represented.
